How to force a lead to validate and update their phone using a OTP

Force your new leads to update to their real phone number when the sign up with a fake number.

You can activate the One Time Password (OTP) verification phone feature in LeadBooker to verify a user's phone number.

Check the below screenshot, the user will see a popup to verify a phone number after login attempt.

Here is the screenshot of how you will see the verified lead users.

Note: The lead user can try 2 times to verify their number. After 2 wrong OTP are entered, the lead phone status will be updated to Unverified. Then he can try after 24 hours.

In this condition, if you want to allow more attempts to verify the phone with OTP, then you can manually set phone status to Invalid from Unverified.

Go to the Lead Summary page and click on the Phone Number Status icon.

To activate this feature follow the below steps:-

1) Click on the Credits, Phone & Texting

2) Then click on the Twilio Account

3) Then, scroll down to the Verify Leads Phone with OTP settings and select Yes from Verify Lead Phone option. Don't forget to click on the Save button.
